Product Description

A Yankee Looks at Cricket , as told to Gerald Brodribb by Henry Sayen. Henry Sayen became “England’s good mascot” after the 1953 Test Match. The England team was fighting a rearguard action at Lords against Australia; Henry Sayen had travelled all the way from Philadelphia simply to see the game and meet the England team; England won the match and sussequantly regained the Ashes. Since then Sayen has seen four Test matches-in four different series-and has never yet seen England lose.
