Eddie Eagan was an American Sportsman who is the only person to win a gold medal in three different events at both the Summer and Winter Olympic games.He was born into a modest family in Denver,Colerado in 1897. He entered the 1920 Olympic games in Antwerp and competed as a boxer in the light-heavyweight division, where he won a gold medal.Eagan’s other boxing awards inclide the 1919 AAU title and a British amateur title.
